Everyone needs a helping hand sometime.
How We Help.
Getting
Started
1. Making the decision to beat your habit is the most important step
you can make. Once you think you're ready, it's time to call HarmonyFirst.
2. You will have lots of questions, and our staff is ready to talk with
you to explain what our program is all about, and to help you make
the right decision about which is the right treatment direction for
you. We'll also discuss your payment options with you at this time.
3. If you think that HarmonyFirst is the right program for you, we will schedule an appointment with you for a full evaluation. If you are in crisis we will see you at your earliest conveniece.
4. For those seeking to withdraw from opiates or alcohol, detoxification usually starts after the initial evaluation. There are no uncomfortable delays in treatment. At that time, a member of our medical team will meet with you and explain the HarmonyMethod™ of detoxification. Dr. Slater or Scott Connors will meet with you as often as necessary throughout the five to six weeks of your opiate detoxification. The clinical team meets daily with those who going through the four to five day active alcohol detoxification process.
Some Things
to Remember:
? HarmonyFirst is not an old fashioned residential type program. During withdrawal and recovery our patients work, play and recover all at the same time. How Great is That?
? HarmonyFirst has programs designed to help people achieve sobriety with weekend detoxification programs and evening rehabilitation programs. In addition, we have a program for people who live some distance from HarmonyFirst. We have treated individuals from as far away as San Francisco and Japan and as close as our own home town.
Finally?
We
are confident we can get you through detoxification. It is like learning to ride a bicycle. We do so with
over 95% of our patients. Because sobriety has to be maintained following the completion of detoxification, HarmonyFirst offers full programs
of Naltrexone therapy for those recovering from opiate dependence, and an Intensive Out Patient program for those recovering from alcohol dependence.
